This is an interesting post by ustwo about the “Sea of Japan” label on the Google Static Maps API. Apparently, this label frustrated South Korea users of their Rando Diplomacy App. I love how politics and technology collide. South Koreans have all the right to find that label annoying. Wireframing in InDesign is far less painful than using any other software because it’s easy to maintain styles on objects and typography. I just started using the Liquid Layout feature in InDesign CS6. One more reason to use InDesign for wireframing over any other program.
We’re currently working on a Node.js app for a client at Steamclock. We’re using .liquid for our page templates. After digging around for syntax highlighting packages, I’ve finally found one that works here. This would also be useful for those of you developing Shopify themes.
